Liz Earle Epos

Liz Earle Cosmetics is an award-winning brand of high-quality

To support the launch of a Liz Earle’s new flagship store in King’s Road, Chelsea, Firedog were asked to design an in-store EPOS system allowing consumers to interactively explore the Liz Earle product range based on their particular skin types, ingredient preferences and product ranges.

Firedog evolved the Liz Earle brand look and feel to fit a small screen format. Extensive wireframes were created to plan the user experience of the digitised product range, and plan the information delivery to make it as user-friendly as possible. The design presented strong and clear product shots with simple to read buttons to make sure that navigating through the range with touch sensitive buttons was highly intuitive.

Firedog developed an animated attractor sequence for displaying on the screens when not in use, to draw customer’s attention and encourage interaction with the EPOS kiosks. A second animation was evolved for displaying on large plasma screens, with strong messaging to convey individual customer’s positive testimonials about Liz Earle’s cosmetic range. The Flash application for the digital product range was developed to allow dynamic updates from a database, allowing the Liz Earle team to keep the kiosk up to date as the product range evolves. Updates can be easily implemented from the Liz Earle offices on the Isle of Wight.
